Our Easter service was held at 10 AM. The church was decorated with coloured bows, beautiful flowers, eggs and butterflies. Our faith family rejoiced in song and word. The children were anxious that I was going to throw an egg in the air. Sometimes there are things that don't happen as we expected ......... and the egg didn't break.... it was hard boiled :) When Mary got to the tomb , she didn't find Jesus' body as she expected...... He had risen!! The children learned how to say ,"Alleluia" It is a hard word! Thank you to server- Jessie, chalice bearer -Val and flower donors. We were happy to welcome some visitors today. ALL are welcome at Emmanuel.
